Finsbury Park Area Guide

Finsbury Park developed and grew around the important railway interchange located near Harringay and is centered on the major bus rail and tube interchange close to the Finsbury Park. A number of well-known persons including Jeremy Corbyn, MP for Islington, have or currently live in Finsbury Park. The area has a cosmopolitan feel, as reflected by the wide variety of shops, restaurants, bars with the added attraction of being close to the Arsenal Football Club's new Emirates Stadium

From Pizzeria Pappagone  a bustling, always busy pizzeria serving authentic, thin-crust pizza with a wide range of toppings. Curry-lovers will find an unusual selection of spicy delights at the Nepalese-Indian Yak and Yeti close by. Finally, Salvation in Noodles on Blackstock Road a Vietnamese restaurant offing good dishes of the country.


Pubs with music include The Silver Bullet or the The World’s End.. Fans of the local football side, meanwhile, are well catered-for at the Stapleton Tavern on Crouch Hill, a sociable local with a good range of real ales. The Faltering Fullback for a fun and friendly Monday night quiz. On Fonthill Road, the WB Yeats boasts a fantastic selection of ales and craft beers with regular live music nights.


A variety of family activates are catered for including excellent shopping. For sports lovers, young families and dog owners the good outdoor access to many green spaces. Most notably Finsbury Park which provides a rich tapestry of landscapes, and facilities catering all types of needs including an enclosed, dog-free play area with an exciting water feature - designed by children, for children. Parents will find Paradise Park the perfect environment to take kids to play in the adventure playgrounds. Finsbury Park has an “interchange station” consisting of a National Rail station, a London Underground station and two bus stations, all interconnected. Named after the nearby Finsbury Park, one of the oldest of London's Victorian parks. It is also used by many Arsenal supporters on match days, as the club's ground is just a short walk away. Access to both the North Circular and M25 are within easy driving distance
